Continuing the wide range of treatments offered in her San Francisco office, Dr. Lisa Kang, co-founder and co-owner of Serenity MedSpa, brings top-of-the-line laser treatments to her Burlingame practice.  These laser treatments include Sciton’s Joule platform offers BBL skin rejuvenation treatments, the Halo Skin resurfacing laser, Diva and DivaTyte for feminine rejuvenation. The Burlingame office also has the Clarity laser from Lutronic for highly effective and comfortable laser hair removal for all skin types and the noninvasive Ultraslim body slimming device.

In addition to the latest laser treatments, Serenity Med Spa in Burlingame offers a comprehensive list of body, face and hair treatments will leave you feeling refreshed and sexier than ever!  To get you summer ready, we’ve picked our favorite treatments to deliver dramatic results:

BOTOX® and fillers:  BOTOX and Dysport are excellent options for those who are looking to achieve a more youthful look without the commitment of plastic surgery.  BOTOX works by blocking nerve impulses to the injected muscles. This reduces the muscle activity that causes the formation of moderate to severe lines and wrinkles.

The results:  When the muscles are relaxed, wrinkles and lines improve quickly and will continue to improve over time.

Silhouette InstaliftTM and PDO ThreadliftBoth of these treatments will lift loose, sagging skin without the downtime of surgery.  Silhouette InstaLift transforms sagging skin without surgery or long recovery times. In less than an hour, you can benefit from an instant mini-facelift that’s safe, effective and long-lasting—with very little downtime.  PDO Thread Lift is one of the most effective ways to lift the loose skin without surgery.  The most popular treatment areas are the brows, cheeks (midface), jowls, and the upper neck. However, Thread Lift can be performed virtually anywhere on the body, such as to lift loose skin on the upper arms, stomach, thighs and around the knees.

The results:  These treatments produce an instant lift of deeper layers of your skin, and will re-contour your face and neck.  They also helps to address volume loss through long-term collagen production.

Vampire Facial®   This treatment uses the tiny needles in the MicroPen Elite to create controlled micro-injuries to the skin. These micro-injuries stimulate collagen and elastin production.  Serenity MedSpa adds Platelet-Rich Plasma, or PRP, to the procedure to supercharge the microneedling benefits. This complete treatment is also known as the Vampire Facial.

The results: You’ll notice an immediate glow to your skin and it will continue to improve over the next few weeks. The full results can be seen up to 6 months post treatment as collagen production continues. PRP also addresses under-eye puffiness and dark circles to give you a more youthful, well-rested appearance.

Coolsculpting® body contouring: If you have noticeable bulges you would like to get rid of, you are a good candidate for this treatment.  This technology uses controlled cooling to eliminate stubborn and unwanted fat that’s especially resistant to diet and exercise. It’s completely noninvasive with no downtime.  CoolSculpting technology safely and precisely delivers controlled cooling to freeze the unwanted fat cells beneath the skin. The frozen fat cells die and the body naturally eliminates them.

The results:  Each cycle will eliminate about 20% of the fat in the treatment areas. After two months, you can eliminate more fat in the same areas if you desire additional contouring.  [In our opinion, this is a fantastic body treatment to reduce those stubborn areas of fat before summer!]
