Home Beauty News 5 Hair and Makeup Looks We Love From the SAG Awards
Awards season is here! More important than the actual dress, hair and makeup can make or break the look. In this special edition of scene, we look at 5 of our favorite beauty looks from the brightest stars of the Screen Actors Guild Awards®.
Julia Robert’s Stunning Sparkle
Julia Roberts was the epitome of beauty and style, needing nothing but a smile and sparkling diamonds from Tiffany & Co’s Masterpieces collection to compliment her elegant black pantsuit. If you look closely, you’ll see that she truly allowed the jewels to shine with a dark eye and neutral lips. The structure of her suit allowed her hair to flow naturally. Bravo, Julia!

Reese Witherspoon’s Bold Lips
Nothing sets off a white outfit better than a bold red lip. Reese Witherspoon got it right with a dark pink-to-red lip and matching blush and black eyeliner. The dramatic side-parted hair, pulled back to one side, to always the perfect way to compliment the one-shoulder look.
Camila Alves: Classic Elegance
Camila Alves nailed a look of minimal, classic elegance, allowing her dress pop by keeping everything simple. Her bright royal purple dress pairs perfectly with her nude lip and cheek. Note: when rocking a nude lip and cheek, it is important to have perfected brow and lashes, which Camila has done. [This is what shapes her face]. Again, keeping the simple theme, her hair is classic and wavy. We also love her lightened locks!
Sarah Hyland’s Bun
When the dress is busy, best to style the hair simply. Sarah Hyland styled her jeweled dress just perfectly with a sleek, twisted bun. Her glittery eyes were the stars of the show. One thing to note is that she kept the sparkle to a minimum – very important when you’re rocking the sparkly eye look. A little goes a long way!
Lupita Nyongo’s Pop of Color
Lupita does no wrong. Ever! Once again, she looks beyond amazing in a bright and bold look. She offsets her busy dress with a bright red lip, and not much else.
