Year after year, Napa Valley music festivals are gaining ground as destination events, adding yet another dimension to the Valley’s luxe epicurean offerings. As if we needed another excuse to travel to wine country, the beautiful weather and rolling vineyards alone serve as an ideal backdrop to take in any open-air music experience.

Now in its second year, Yountville Live, which runs from March 31 – April 3, is a quintessential trifecta of music, food and wine. The intimate setting and “unplugged” experience make for a unique musical offering in the Valley, joining an impressive list that includes The Music Festival for Brain Health by Staglin Family Vineyards, the Summer Concert Series at Mondavi WineryBottleRock and Live in the Vineyard.

“In its short history, Yountville Live has already developed a reputation as the next generation epicurean event,” said Joe Fisher, a partner of Yountville Live.

Driven by the forces behind Live In The Vineyard, Yountville Live has tapped some of the country’s most exciting musicians, including American Idol winner Kris Allen, Jillette Jonson and the Goo Goo Dolls. Throughout the 4-day festival, musical acts will be accompanied by the talents of renowned restaurateurs and Michelin-rated chefs, including Michael Chiarello, ‘Top Chef’ Victor Scargle, Bob Hurley, Las Vegas chef Grant MacPherson, and Julian Serrano, among many others.

Naturally, any celebration in wine country wouldn’t be complete without world-renowned vintners to pair their best wines with the festival’s culinary creations. Some of the tastings include Trinchero Family Estates, Jessup Cellars, Handwritten Wines, Grgich Hills Estate, Cliff Lede Vineyards, Franciscan, Clos du Val, Peju, Paraduxx, Ma(i)sonry, Priest Ranch, Robert Mondavi Winery, Provenance, Hewitt and Somerston, among many.

There are a wide range of experiences and day-passes to take in the festival. Passes are now on sale and range from $75 for single events, to $1095 for the ultimate, all-access VIP Pass. Visit Yountville Live for passes and for the breakdown of the Yountville Live daily schedule.
