It is always a memorable fall night when the Tenderloin Development Corporation takes over the Phoenix! San Francisco’s splashiest affair returned on October 18 at the Tenderloin Development Corporation’s (TNDC) Pool Toss at San Francisco’s hip Phoenix Hotel/Chambers Eat + Drink.
Only in San Francisco will you find this splashy, high-energy soiree known as the pool party of the year. This year’s party was emceed by a fabulous squad that included Cheryl Jennings of ABC7/KGO-TV, Empress XXX Donna Sachet, Lenny Broberg, Steven Anthony Jones and A.J. Kirsch.
Attendees had the sinful pleasure of tossing their favorite Bay Area bigwigs into a swimming pool, while raising funds for kids and families in San Francisco’s Tenderloin. The night’s top tossees were the Nibbi Brothers who got tossed for $35,451! Other Notable tosees for the evening included the women of Pixar; Alice Carr of JPMorgan Chase Bank; Whitney Hudak of Lyft & Symphonix Board and Sally Carlson of Carlson Beck Recruiting.
Over the years, the TNDC Pool Toss has raised more than $4 million for TNDC youth and family programs like the Tenderloin After-School Program (TASP). TNDC serves more than 3,600 of the lowest-income individuals in San Francisco’s Tenderloin and nearby neighborhoods. This year’s event raised $355,000 for TNDC’s Tenderloin After-School Program and the families who call TNDC home.
