The Princess Project, San Francisco kicked off another year of prom dress giveaways at the Embarcadero Center last weekend, marking their 16th year of making prom dreams come true. Located at 4 Embarcadero Center, the Princess Project provides free prom dresses and accessories to under-privileged high school girls so they can attend their proms.
This year, Benefit Cosmetics participated in the giveaways, providing makeup and live product demonstrations to promote their Bold Is Beautiful campaign, which supports female-focused non-profit organizations (The Princess Project is currently a part of the campaign). KTVU Fox News was also onsite to highlight the event and conduct interviews with participants and volunteers.
The Princess Project relies solely on the generosity of their donors in order to provide services to the community and this year they have received a number generous donations from organizations including Lady Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation, Project Glimmer, Clif Bar, Capital One and Weddington Way. Dress giveaways are held throughout the month of March at 4 Embarcadero Center on the 2nd Floor.
